The clients that depend on Alvarez Technology Group (ATG) for support services come in all sizes, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t all get the exact same attention and outstanding customer service that ATG is known for. One recent example is Meals on Wheels of the Salinas Valley, a non-profit agency based in Salinas that has been providing home-delivered meals daily to thousands of seniors for over forty years.
The small staff of six is led by Executive Director Janine Nunez Robinette and they depend on ATG not just to solve problems when they crop up, they also rely on the team of customer care specialists and technical consultants to help them plan for the future and take advantage of their informational technology systems to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
During a routine quarterly business revue, Janine met with Matt Lampi, the CCS assigned to Meals on Wheels, and mentioned that the organization was trying to qualify for a financial grant to refresh their IT infrastructure. Matt volunteered to help in any way possible. He diligently worked with Janine to build the proposal that was submitted, configuring a hardware and software solution that would serve the organization for at least the next three to four years. Matt also helped Meals on Wheels leverage their non-profit status to acquire lower cost software through Techsoup, a company that supports non-profits, stretching the funds available from the grant that Meals on Wheels eventually received.
