According to Daniel Sieberg, Senior Marketing Manager at Google, many shoppers were looking for electronics including the Sony PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and tablets on Cyber Monday 2013.
During Cyber Monday, electronics are the easiest thing to buy online because people know what they’re getting. We don’t have to worry about sizes and colors, we simply look for the best deal available. In addition, almost 40% of all purchases on Cyber Monday 2013 were done with portable devices, such as tablets and smartphones. The popularity of electronics and portable devices is undeniably growing at a shocking rate!
